New RcodeZero DNS TLD Anycast node in Geneva
For TLD operators, permanent availability, optimal performance, short response times and maximum protection of the DNS infrastructure are of the highest priority. To guarantee this, Anycast technology has become industry standard and almost every TLD has one or more Anycast providers.
A homogenous routing policy can achieve optimal routing. This is where we as DNS experts play to our strengths: Our RcodeZero DNS from ipcom GmbH team works constantly on developing the routing strategy of our server locations and on implementing individual customer requirements – especially regarding Anycast nodes.
From December 2022, our TLD customers – especially the Swiss TLD registry SWITCH (.ch) – can look forward to an additional TLD Anycast location in Geneva, supplementing the existing Swiss node in Zurich. A total of 26 carefully selected Anycast nodes in Europe, America and Asia-Pacific are now available for TLD operators.
