Shut-down of the at-dom@nic.at mail-interface

On 12/21/2005 the new nic.at website was launched. Apart from the change to a modern design, many improvements regarding the registration, modification and billing processes were implemented. Furthermore, the web-interface for the nic.at partners (“nic.at registrars”) has been revised and improved significantly. By the end of 2006, the introduction of an EPP-interface for registrars is planned. As the usage rate for the mail-template interface for end customers has strongly decreased, it is no longer to reasonable to operate it from a technical point of view.

Therefore, nic.at will shut down the operation of this mail-interface as of 08/01/2006 / 1pm.

Please note that it will only be possible to make future registrations and modifications via the responsible registrar or the nic.at website.
