nic.at-document regarding DNSSEC

DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC) is a technology, which should improve the security of the Domain Name System in certain attack-scenarios. DNSSEC however doesn't solve all security-related problems of the DNS, and may even compromise the stability and availability of the Domain Name System. In addition to the improvement in security, a potential implementation would also lead to a massive increase of work for the registry and registrars. The following document illustrates the ongoing effort regarding this issue, and describes the position of nic.at towards a potential implementation.
