.at-hostcounts
The University of Vienna carries out the monthly hostcount on behalf of the Ripe NCC for the TLD .at as part of the "RIPE Region Hostcount". This is done via zone transfers for all .at-zones, carried out from the address-ranges 131.130.249.0/24 and 193.171.255.0/24. The results are accumulated in a statistic.
For further informations please take a look at

as well as

Please note that RIPE NCC is conducting zone-transfers (from the address-range 193.0.0.0/22) as well (see URL:
http://www.ripe.net/hostcount/faq.html
).
For this reason we kindly ask all nameserver-providers hosting zonefiles in the .at-tree to allow zone-transfers from addresses in the ranges 131.130.249.0/24, 193.171.255.0/24 and 193.0.0.0/22
If you have any questions about other entries in your logfile, please send us further information.

What does IDN mean?
-
IDN is for "Internationalized Domain Name", which is a standard that enables the use of other characters in addition to the currently allowed ASCII-characters (the 26 Latin letters, the ten numbers 0 – 9 and the hyphen) for domain names. The respective registry decides which additional characters are allowed with the implementation of IDN.
