

Why must a domain be paid during the registration process?
Since 04/30/2008, it has been neccessary to pay domains before their actual registration, for the purpose of preventing intended and fraudulent (names and addresses) via the nic.at website.

When do I get my invoice?
Invoices for doman registrations are sent within five workdays.
Subsequent invoices are made out 45 days before their due date.

Must subsequent years also be paid in advance?
No, you will get an invoice within 45 days before their actual due date. You can pay the domain fees according to our payment methods or have them debited automatically via direct debit authorisation, respectively.

Do I have to make a prepayment for a registration, although nic.at already has a direct debit authorisation?
No, as a direct debit customer, you can avoid prepayment by logging in during the registration process.
Of course, invoices will be made out including three percent discount, as previously.
